Small businesses are the heartbeat of Georgia’s economy. My plan ensures that every entrepreneur, from local barbers and bakers to builders and innovators, has fair access to the tools, training, and licensing they need to thrive.
Starting a business should be exciting, not exhausting. Yet too many Georgia entrepreneurs face long delays, outdated systems, and complex red tape when trying to get licensed or access support. I am fighting to change that. My Small Business Access and Licensing Reform Plan focuses on simplifying processes, expanding opportunities, and promoting fairness for all business owners. Here’s how:
Simplify the Process – Streamline licensing and registration through a one-stop online portal and reduce turnaround times.
Expand Resources – Create a statewide hub for small business training, grants, and certification programs.
Promote Equity – Ensure equal access for minority, rural, veteran, and women-owned businesses.
Increase Transparency – Publicly track licensing performance and funding distribution for accountability.
Partner for Progress – Collaborate with community colleges, local governments, and private partners to support entrepreneurs where they are.
My vision is to remove barriers, build trust, and empower every Georgian with the opportunity to succeed in business, because when local businesses thrive, our communities flourish.
